Private Jet Charter to Nantucket!

The summer season is here and there are few greater places to be than on Nantucket! The Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK) provides FBO services and now features new updates to their Airport Monitor/Internet Flight Tracking System.

New features include:
  • Pause/Resume: You can now pause the flight activity, click on flights in pause mode to see who they are, then resume where you left off, (works in both live and replay mode) – useful for taking the time to find the flight you want at your own pace
  • Fast Forward in replay mode lets you choose faster replay speeds, to view the flight you want quicker
  • Color-coding for alternate airports – a new color for flights from nearby airports local helps clarify and sort traffic
  • Helicopter identification – some helicopters, depending on their speed and flight behavior, will be identified by a black helicopter icon (helicopters that are flying like airplanes may still be identified by a black airplane icon).
  • Online help page – frequently asked questions and topics are now conveniently located right on the application
The New York Times has a great page about places to stay on Nantucket: highly recommends the Wauwinet Inn By The Sea, and there are currently rooms available as of the date of this posting. Get them soon, because they run out quickly! Their website is a great resource for happenings on the Island and the staff at Wauwinet will do everything they can to make sure your stay is exactly how you want it!

The Nantucket Film Festival runs from June 22 through June 26 and is a Must-Attend Event!
Founded by brother and sister team Jill and Jonathan Burkhart in 1996. The Burkharts lived on the island year round, and with their love of movies and the community, they knew it was the perfect place to begin a film festival. Today, the NFF is one of the premiere destination film festivals in the world. Visitors come from all over to experience our preview screenings, signature programs, and stand out hospitality on a magical island rich with history, a friendly atmosphere, and beautiful sandy beaches.

Finally, the BEST breakfast place on the Island in our opinion, is Black-Eyed Susan's, at 10 India Street, Nantucket. Credit cards are not accepted, so make sure to bring cash! Here is their Breakfast Menu:
